SEACBEC Hosts Technical College Day

Southeast Arkansas Community Based Education Center  (SEACBEC) hosted a Technical College Day on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 10:00 AM through 2:00 PM for students and from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM for parents and community.  The focus was for students to be introduced to the 2 year colleges, community colleges, trade schools, apprenticeships, and other career and technical training programs offered throughout the state.

SEACBEC students were able to meet with numerous representatives that came from across the state and to hear about different career and technical college programs, trade schools, and apprenticeship opportunities offered within the following organizations:


South Arkansas Community College, El Dorado

University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff:  Industrial Technology Management and Applied Engineering Program

University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College

Southeast Arkansas College, Pine Bluff

UAM- College of Technology, Crossett

UAM- College of Technology, McGehee

Arkansas Welding Academy, Jacksonville

Southern Arkansas University Tech
