Eighteen Schools Compete in the Regional Marching Contest Held at Warren

The Warren Lumberjack Band received all excellent ratings in the contest.
Warren High School hosted the Regional Marching Contest Tuesday, October 18, at Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium.  Eighteen schools, 4-A and 5-A, spanning the region from DeWitt to Magnolia competed in the event.

The Lumberjack Band scored excellent ratings with all 1's.

The band presented a musical tribute to theme music from television police shows.  The crowd recognized each tune and reacted with sheer enjoyment.

The weather was perfect for the competition.  However, it was apparent that the new turf's ability to stay dry makes Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium a great stage for band contest.  The fact that Warren is centrally located in the region makes it a great location.

The director of the band is Mr. Kevin Dunn.  He is assisted by Mr. Bobby Hagler.
Logan Adams was the featured soloist during the performance.

Moving with great precision, the Lumberjack Band looked impressive.
