SEACBEC's Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement classes had guest speaker, Probation and Parole Officer Tim Collier, on Monday, January 29, 2016. He explained how Arkansas Community Corrections Probation and Parole Officers utilize different resources in order to help reduce recidivism among offenders. He shared with the students the differences between probation and parole. Officer Collier also explained the job functions of a probation and parole officer.
