Five Hermitage Elementary Gifted and Talented students recently participated in a Paper Roller Coaster Competition at the Southeast Educational Cooperative in Monticello. The students constructed beams, columns, loops, turns, funnels, etc. from cardstock and then the various teams competed to build the fastest, slowest and best ride,or the most creative roller coaster. Two of our students were on the winning teams. Students attending are L to R: Rayleigh Temple, Kayleea Keller, Stella Huitt, Carter Curtis and Jackson Wright.
