Five Hermitage GT students competed in the annual roller coaster challenge at the Monticello Educational Cooperative on March 27. These students worked in teams composed of students from various schools in the cooperative area. The students put together the paper parts, made design decisions and constructed group roller coasters. These could be designed for a fast or a slow ride and for the most creative coaster. Two of our group members, Chelcie Grider and Rayleigh Temple were on winning teams and received a medal.
