The Hermitage Jr. High Quiz Bowl Team competed at the Regional Tournament in Maumelle on Saturday February 3rd. The team finished with a 1st place win with an undefeated record. The team qualified to compete at the State Competition on February 24th, 2018 in Morrilton, Ar. Team Captain, Edwin Martinez, also had the second highest individual average for most questions answered per game. He was invited to join the All-Tournament team for the Region. Team members include (back row starting left) Julianne Baker, Olivia Pierce, Braden Harrod, Alan McGhee, Sutton Nelson, John Robert Ellis (front row left to right) Joseph Best, Edwin Martinez (Captain), and Hailey Carney (Scorekeeper). Coaches are Mistie McGhee and Ginnie Sellers.
